With biodiesel becoming a common alternative to Carbon Diesel and Gas Oil, which now contains FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters) it has become an issue with filters and refuelling systems.

FAME being introduced as part of the fuel, which is “hygroscopic” means it will absorb more moisture than carbon fuel and with the plant and animal fat, this gives a perfect breeding ground for fuel bugs.

We at Taylor Fuel Control have a solution to this problem known as “Fuel Polishing” which is a process of continuous cleaning microbial contamination from contaminated biofuel.

Our simple continuous filter system removes particles up to 4 micron giving a clear and clean perfect fuel.
