Director, Gerald King celebrates 26 years at Taylor Fuel Control!

Congratulations to Gerald King!

Gerald began his career as an apprentice welder at BOC Murex. Following his successful apprenticeship, he then progressed as an Advanced Welder and then a Coded Welder for the King Group of companies.

He then continued his career in engineering at Taylor Fuel Control. Gerald has extensive knowledge and expertise in the design, manufacture and supply of high quality refuelling facilities for a number of contracts in the Commercial Oil Industry. He has managed a team of engineers to successfully complete a number of inaugural projects across the UK; including the design and Installation of innovative Diesel and Petrol Fuel Pontoons for UK ports, harbours and marinas, as well as many commercial marine fuel infrastructures including the latest installation, The Dover Western Docks Revival New Marina in 2023.

Other major successful projects that Gerald has managed comprise the design and installation of:
* An offshore Windfarm shore facility refuelling infrastructure at Shoreham in East Sussex in 2020
* A new Offshore Windfarm shore facility refuelling infrastructure for Harwich in 2019
* The Scottish Offshore Windfarm shore facility refuelling infrastructure at Great Yarmouth in 2018
* A fuel facility for the Olympics based at Portland in 2012
* The new Petrol engine test bed at East Cowes, Isle of Wight in 2008

He is also a Qualified Quality Manager and APEA DSERA Risk Assessor.
